SPACES annual benefit party and auction always proves to be one of the year's most colorful, outrageous and creative events in Cleveland.
Based on a theme, guests come dressed in varying degrees of that theme, from mild to wild. And its silent art auction has consistently been recognized as one of the best opportunities to get great work by emerging and established regional artists.

Shag: Think 70s bungalow. Austin Powers. Or a small water bird.
Stripes: As in "stars and. . ." Or maybe pinstripes. Animal stripes (zebra, tiger, skunk?).

You have the right to remain sexy at this year's Pin Stripe Penthouse Party, where the hip will mix, mingle, nosh and nibble. Enjoy catered eats by Brian Doyle, "the chameleon chef" of World's Fare Culinary, classic cocktails featuring Skyy Vodka, and a swingin' music scene.
Art of a different stripe You'll want to wear your racing stripes to bid on fine art and fabulous finds during the "Penthouse Private" live auction, featuring a wearable chocolate creation by chocolatier Ann Blackwood, and artwork by Andrew Borowiec, Catherine Butler, Lawrence Channing, Jeffry Chiplis, Daniel Dove, Thomas Frontini, Mark Howard, Julie Langsam, and Michael Loderstedt.

Shag like the little minx you are at our silent auction and party. Dress up and mingle with artists, creatives and urban hipsters. Shimmy up to the dessert buffet featuring sweets by some of Cleveland's finest chefs and restaurants.
But the real steal are the offerings of our silent art auction. Over one hundred artists have generously donated their work for our huge silient auction: paintings, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, textiles and more. Bidding starts well below market value, so be prepared to shag some fabulous pieces of art!
