Doktorski's installation examines the current state of consumer culture through juxtaposition of the forces of nature versus the will of man. Doktorski received her MFA in Sculpture at Yale University School of Art and her BFA at the Parsons School of Design. She has received numerous awards including the Fulbright Fellowship in 1990 and the Visual Artist Fellowship from Utah State Arts Council in 2008. more on Eileen Doktorski ... back to SPACELab>>	This installation explores emotions connected to the familial archetype and the inevitability of change experienced in the life of an immigrant. Kanai graduated from the Tama Art University in Tokyo, Japan in 1982 and currently lives in Brooklyn, New York. Kanai exhibited in Topographic at SPACES in 2005. more on Yoshiko Kanai ...
