Closing reception for Afrofuturism and our current SPACELab exhibition What's Left Behind by artist Dan DeZarn, where DeZarn shows what's "left behind" after an event, in this case, small explosions.
Entertainment includes Afro-inspired spoken word by Conni Blair, Native Clevelander, cofounder of 1+1 Productions, a touring edutainment company, and a member of Women of Season, a spoken-word group; and Jacqueline Elaine Gillon, Grassroots activist and Director of Community Organization for the Cleveland Neighborhood Leadership Institute.
