SPACES summer exhibitions

Two exhibitions on view at SPACES this summer examine what it means to identify within a specific American culture, and how that culture affects one's individuality and one's reality.

SPACES World Artists Program artist-in-residence Pavel Kopriva, from Prague, Czech Republic, questions identity and role-playing in American culture in his solo exhibition. And in MythAmerica, ten artists from Ohio and across the country explore the relationship between personal identity and a broader "American" identity.
