About SPACES:SPACES is Cleveland's 21-year old non-profit, alternative arts organization, with a 5,500 sq. foot gallery on the Western edge of downtown Cleveland. It presents challenging new work by developing and experimenting artists in traditional media as well as video, film and installation art. SPACES promotes local and regional artists and brings significant work from outside the region to Northeast Ohio audiences.

Run by artists, SPACES is dedicated to presenting work new and innovative in concept or media which would otherwise not be seen in Cleveland. It emphasizes small group exhibitions, allowing artists to present their work as they want it to be seen.

SPACES annually presents six large-scale six-week exhibitions and 12 experimental SPACE Lab exhibitions which last three weeks each. The gallery is open to the public six days a week (closed Mondays). All activities are free and open to the public.

If you are eager to learn, love to have fun, and would like to help us make this the best season ever, then call Marilyn Ladd-Simmons, Gallery Manager at (216) 621-2314 for more information
