Eileen Doktorski

San Jacinto, CA

Doktorski received her BFA from Parsons School of Design and her MFA from the Yale School of Art. Her professional achievements include:being a Fulbright Scholar at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland, a recipient of an artist grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, and state fellowship awards from both the New Jersey State Council for the Arts and the Utah Arts Council. Her work has been exhibited in twenty-six states and in Poland and Korea. In support of making art accessible to diverse communities she served on the advisory boards for the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art and Artspace - A Center for the Visual Literary and Performing Arts and served as commissioner for Cultural Affairs for the City of New Haven. Doktorski has been teaching art and supporting student and community collaborations for over twenty years. She is currently a department chair for the Department of Art at Mt. San Jacinto College, CA, where she is a professor of Sculpture, 2D Design, 3D Design, Beginning & Intermediate Drawing, and Ceramic Arts.
