Katie Parland is a 2010 graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art. After receiving her BFA in Communication Design, she began working with RUL, a small studio in midtown Cleveland. She enjoys work that allows her to incorporate her love of silkscreening, illustration, and hand-drawn type. Katie was selected as one of Graphic Design USA's Students to Watch, was featured in MAKE8BELIEVE's Issue #1: Dinosaurs, and won an AIGA award in the student design category. She plays rugby, rides bikes, and loves Cleveland.
