Kristen Cliffel
Biography
Kristen Cliffel is a ceramic sculptor living and working in Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 1990 with a BFA in Ceramics. Kristen is in many public and private collections in the area including, the Canton Museum of Art,University Hospitals, Metro General Hospital, Cleveland Clinic, Hahn, Loeser and Parks LLP. Kristen completed Residencies at The Banff Centre in Alberta, Canada and the Kohler Company in Wisconsin. She has received an Ohio Arts Council Individual Artist Fellowship, has been a Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Grant Nominee. She is represented by The William Busta Gallery in Cleveland and the Sherrie Gallery in Columbus. She continues to show her sculpture widely across the United States. Kristen is the mother of two, the wife of one and the baker of many cupcakes and sweet treats.
