Biography
Lauren Bugaj passed away in November, 2006. She earned her BFA in Photography from The Cleveland Institute of Art, Cleveland, OH.
In the Big Bang catalogue, Lauren Bugaj writes, "Fantasies revealed. A part of me is reflected in each photograph: Things I will never see looking in the mirror. Familiar flesh hidden behind a mask, pulsating colors absorbed in a loved one's skin, layers of discarded belongings find new meaning...My photographs evoke feelings I have yet to discover."
