Laurin Döpfner, born in 1987 in Austria, is a media artist who uses stop motion animation to find the hidden secrets inside the objects that surround us, and it only takes a industrial sanding machine to reveal them.
Döpfner worked four years as a carpenter and craftsman. After getting tired of just working for the hole life he decided to try something new. Because he was always playing with music, photographs and electricity, he decided to join the Artuniversity for "Timebased and Interaktiv-Media" in Linz (Austria). Now he is working with video (Timelapse, Experimentalfilm & Musikvideo), audio (Sounddesign & Filmscores) and hardware (Arduino).
