Leah Frances Gay is a post-baccalaureate student earning a BFA in Printmaking and a Master's with Licensure degree in Visual Arts Education at the University of Akron, OH. Being interested in many fields of study, she changed her major several times before she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Studio Art in December 2010. Art making is her medium for expressing her thirst for understanding environmental and social justice crises shes learned about in her program-hopping past. Along with learning more about salient ecological and sociological events to discuss with her artwork, Gay has the goals of becoming an art teacher at the k-12 level and possibly college level after earning her MFA.
