Seitu was born in Minneapolis in 1951. He has exhibited at the Institute of Contemporary Art, National Civil Rights Museum and Three Columns Gallery. He was awarded the Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Fellowship in 1990 and the Loeb Fellowship at Harvard School of Design from 2001-2002.
