Shelly DiCello Ahern

Cleveland, OH

Shelly DiCello Ahern received her MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2002 and her BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 1999. She is a visual artist with an emphasis in intaglio and relief printmaking. Shelly is known for her line work and mark-making, which beautifully translate into letterpress. She exhibits prints, drawings and installations at various galleries across the country. Shelly was a visiting professor at the University of Georgia, where she taught printmaking, papermaking and book arts from 2006-2009. She is on the board of directors of the Morgan Conservatory, has been the Department Chair of the Visual Arts Department at Saint Joseph Academy since 2009, and was previously the Visual Arts Department Chair at Cleveland Institute of Art. She lives in Cleveland, Ohio.
