Choi received both his BFA and MFA in sculpture from the Seoul National University in Seoul, Korea, and an MFA in combined media from Hunter College in New York City. He has shown in the US and internationally, including exhibitions at Dumbo Arts Center; Rosenberg Gallery, New York University; Steuben South Gallery, Pratt Art Institute; Rush Arts Gallery; Spaces, Cleveland, OH; Real Art Ways, Hartford, CT; Front Room Gallery; Vaudeville Park; Korean Cultural Service; M55 Gallery; Hunter College; Alpan Gallery, Huntington, NY; Creative Arts Workshop, New Haven, CT; Sculpture Space, Utica, NY. Choi is currently a technical advisor for the Sculpture Center at the School of Visual Arts, NYC.
