Yoshiko Kanai received an MFA and a BA from Tama Art University, Tokyo, Japan. Kanai's work has been shown at Hanoi Contemporary Art Center, Hanoi, Vietnam; International Artist's Village, Taipei, Taiwan; Socrates Sculpture Park, Long Island City, New York; Old Museum Art Centre, Belfast, North Ireland; The New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York City, and more. Kanai exhibited in Topographic at SPACES in 2005.
