| April 18–July 6, 2008 | Living in Your Imagination: SPACES 30th Anniversary Curated by William Busta For Living in Your Imagination, we reviewed all the artists who exhibited at SPACES during the past decade and selected one from each year to present new work. We also invited SPACES World Artist Jiří Černický, who represents our move into the future as an international force in alternative art. At its core, this exhibition addresses a persistent theme in contemporary art -- how artists mix personal and public identity as they respond to the places in which they exist. |
