With Laura Steenberge
Machine Project's Laura Steenberge will lead a participatory music/sound event that involves yarn... lots of yarn. Yarn will be strung around the gallery, floor to ceiling, piano to bells, participants to each other. Laura and the audience will then be able to play this tangled "instrument" by tugging on the strings like puppeteers—activating the piano, jingling the bells, and coaxing other participants into adding their voices. The more the merrier—musicians and non-musicians alike. Children 9 and older are welcome when accompanied by a parent/guardian.
