Bili Kribbs is a pop-surrealist, trouble maker, instigator and into general mischief. Kribbs' whimsical musings are tightly rendered, colorful and imaginative. Kribbs utilizes many mediums including acrylic paintings, sculpture, Pop-art screen printing, video, animation and sculpted plastic resign toys.
Kribbs is a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in animation. His artwork has been seen at several local Stark County art shows and galleries, including the annual Art is Alive event in Canton the Massillon Museum's Studio M shows and the Thirteenth Floor Gallery in Massillon. His animation credits include several shorts and three local television commercials on Massillon Cable and Clear Picture.
His graphic design work has been utilized to promote local music events in Akron and Kent. Kribbs has given sculpting workshops to several students throughout Stark and Wayne counties. Two Garbage to Glory murals by Kribbs are still present in the downtown Canton area. He participated in the 24 straight paint in 2007, as a fundraiser for the Ananda Center and the Second April Gallery. Kribbs was the Visual Arts Director for Art Syrcus 2007 and 2008, a visual and performing arts event in Massillon. Kribbs helped organize a monthly art show featuring local artists called Art Displaced in Massillon held March 2008 to 2009. His work won Best in Show at the Stark County Artists Exhibit 2008 and Runner-up in the 2011 Massillon Art Battle.
