Emily Sullivan is a part-time faculty member at Kent State University, where she teaches 2D design, 3D design, drawing and printmaking courses. Having received an MFA from Kent State in printmaking, her studio practice is interdisciplinary and is constructed from a hybrid of screen printing, sculpture and digital photography. The pieces focus on issues of consumerism, marketing practices and the human propensity toward personalizing their environment. Her most recent exhibitions include; Printed Matters at Gallery 6000 in Canton, OH, Gold at the Sandusky Cultural Center in Sandusky OH, Metaphoricaly Speaking, at the Link Gallery in Warren, OH, and Dimensional at the Bill Busta Gallery in Cleveland, OH. She also has an artist book in the collection of the Franz Mazreel Centrum Kasterlee, Belgium
