Jason Eppink engages in public space magic, open source scheming, moving image mischief, photon re-appropriation, and linguistic subterfuge. Good Magazine proclaimed him "one of the top 100 most important, exciting, and innovative people making our world better and changing the way we live." When he's not doing that, Eppink creates interactive experiences, curates events and exhibitions, and throws raging art parties as the Associate Curator of Digital Media at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York City. His work at the museum revolves around participation in a variety of fields, including video games, interactive art, remix, animated GIFs, and online communities. And when he's not doing that at the museum, he is a senior agent with prank group Improv Everywhere member of the art collective, a member of the art collective Flux Factory, and a recurring character (40-Year-Old Goosey) on The Chris Gethard Show. In his spare time, Eppink corrupts young minds as an adjunct professor at New York University, where he teaches students how to make animated GIFs and video games under the auspices of art.
