Julie Weitz


Julie Weitz was born in Chicago, IL and lives and works in Cleveland, OH. Her work combines painting, drawing, collage and video to addresses the complex and entangled ways in which we picture others and ourselves. She has exhibited at Schroeder Romero, New York, NY, Thomas Robertello Gallery, Chicago, IL, Patricia Sweetow Gallery, San Francisco, CA, Marine Contemporary, Santa Monica, CA and William Busta Gallery, Cleveland, OH. Weitz is a 2010 recipient of the West Prize and is Associate Professor of Art at the University of South Florida.
