Karen Marston is a painter living and working in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Her work has been seen in several solo exhibitions in NYC: Storm Watch, New Paintings at Storefront Bushwick (reviewed in Time Out magazine by Michael Wilson), Breathing Room at Dam Stuhltrager Gallery in Williamsburg, Where You'll Find Me at the Cheryl McGinnis Gallery on Madison Avenue, and Respirations, at Taller Boricua, in East Harlem. Some recent group exhibitions include: Vapors and Squalls, or Mediums, at Centotto in Bushwick, Fluid at the Newhouse Center for Contemporary Art at Snug Harbor Cultural Center, In The Zone, at Station Independent Projects on the Lower East Side and Montrose, at the Front Room Gallery in Williamsburg.

Marston also serves as the President of the Board of Trustees of NURTUREart Non-Profit where she was instrumental in the opening of the NURTUREart Gallery in Brooklyn, is project managing the development of the online Registry for Artists and Curators, and hosted Muse Fuse, an informal monthly art salon with many notable guest speakers, for eleven seasons.

Originally from California, she earned her BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and participated in the AICA New York Studio Program.
