Veleta Vancza began her career making jewelry and has expanded her work to include combining enamel on metal with technologies to create sculptures, wall pieces, and installations. She received her MFA from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2003 and her BFA from the State University of New York at New Paltz in 2000. She received her AAS from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 1993. Her work is displayed in the permanent collections of both the Kohler Company and the Museum of Arts and Design. Her work has also been featured both in several periodicals and books and in exhibitions in museums around the globe.
