Auction 101 Seminar at SPACES

Thursday, October 20, 2016, 6:00PM - 7:30PM

Coordinating Specialist Carrie Corrigan, will give you an insider's perspective on the world of auctions. Whether you are a seasoned collector or looking for a quality piece to fill that empty wall space, auctions are a great way to find unique, original works of art. If you've never been to an auction, the prospect of bidding in one can seem intimidating. Corrigan will teach you how auctions work and what to look for when collecting so that you can bid with confidence.

Cowan's Auctions has been auctioning quality antiques for 20 years. Founded by Wes Cowan of the Antiques Roadshow and PBS's History Detectives, Cowan's has three offices nationwide, including one in Cleveland, with an international audience and offers over 30 auctions a year covering fine art, decorative art, jewelry, American Indian art, modern and contemporary art and design, American history, Americana, and firearms and military items. You can learn more about them and see their upcoming sales and events online at

This seminar will be held at SPACES, 2220 Superior Viaduct, Cleveland, OH 44113
