More on the panel discussion below:
President Donald J. Trump just finished his first 100 days, the time period where a President has the most power and influence. Prior to his inauguration, President Trump put forth an ambitious agenda: clean up corruption in Washington, D.C., protect American workers, and restore security and the order of law.
The road to accomplishing these goals has not been easy. Active, sustained resistance from both Republicans and Democrats, the ongoing investigation into his campaign's ties to Russia, internal White House rivalries, and the administration's frequent battles with the mainstream media have dominated the headlines. And, according to a new Pew Research Center poll, this has also impeded citizen's access to important information.
How does President Trump's first 100 days compare with previous Presidents? What can we distill from his actions in these first 100 days? And can - and should - we judge any President by what is or isn't accomplished during this time? Join us as historians, political scientists, and members of the national media discuss President Trump's first 100 days in office.
Panelists include:
David B. Cohen, Ph.D, Professor of Political Science and Fellow, Ray C. Bliss Institute of Applied Politics at The University of Akron
Jessica Wehrman, Washington Correspondent, The Columbus Dispatch
