SWAP resident and CEC Artslink Fellow Irina Spicaka will give an overview of the working process of her generative media. For several years she has been working with the group Creative Coding for live Audio Visual (CC4AV) and the small media production studio CodeBark. Together with her partner, media technologist Krisjanis Rijnieks, Irina has facilitated several workshops utilizing projection mapping on spacial objects. Her talk will include an explantation of the development of the piece Process that she is developing while in residence as part of a larger installation that will take place in Riga, Latvia.
Irina Spicaka
Irina Spicaka is applying mathematical logic, geometry and visual programming tools for communicating audio and visual experiences. She is looking for deconstruction of the typical rectangular screen by using projection mapping and exploring the ways how these spatial objects can be used in concepts of acoustics.
