Party with us for the last Big Reveals of TAG: Round 1!
Once again, Jason Eppink and Thu Tran will unveil what they have been working on and discuss how their works have evolved over four weeks' time. Then, in the spirit of TAG, B-ron Lee [DJ Funk-Shway] will mix his sounds from the 70's, 80's and 90's with the tech house and trap stylings of Madeline K. Hoyle [DJ Murderline] in this post-work dance party. Each DJ will take their own style and mix it live with each other, creating a unique collaborative sound.
TAG background:
Since May 26th, Jason and Thu have been working side-by-side in their separate "studios" built within the SPACES gallery, and switching back-and-forth over the course of four weeks to add, dissect, alter, and/or build on top of what the other artist creates. The narrative process of this unscripted collaboration culminates in two separate artworks equally owned by two artists. The Dueling DJs Dance Party celebrates the final iteration of the Jason Eppink x Thu Tran collaboration, but the work will be on display through July 25th.
