Paul Druecke completes his SWAP residency wherein he explored local monuments and memorials. During the opening reception for the November exhibitions, Druecke will unveil two plaques commemorating the SWAP artists that came before him and the funders of the SWAP program. These plaques will be permanently affixed to the exterior of SPACES' building.
Both a meditation on heritage and the community support that makes collective memory and memorial possible, Druecke's project seeks to explore memorials by adopting their same forms.
